
Max Auger began dancing at the age of 14 with the Teen Company at The Palace Theatre. However, it wasn’t until college that he began seriously training under the direction of Larry Robertson, Susan Endrizzi, Gay Nardone and Mary Beth Marino. Max graduated with a BA in Dance Performance from The University of New Hampshire. Max joined Ballet Misha in 2013 and has danced roles including the Sugarplum Cavalier in The Nutcracker, Duke Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Jafar in Aladdin, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, and Prince Phillip in The Sleeping Beauty. Max has also performed in the Palace Theatre’s professional production of West Side Story. Max has performed with the Boston based modern company Contraposte, as well as the Dance Annex of Kittery Maine. Max has performed in several pop-up art events including ArtFront NH, and Kelly-Stelling Contemporary, as well as at Canterbury Shaker Village festivals.
